Will Lybrand is the founder of Wanderhold and Studio Lybrand. A lifelong RPG player and software engineer, he built Wanderhold to solve a problem he kept running into: the campaign that dies when the calendar does. Wanderhold is designed for the player who wants to play — tonight, alone, on their own schedule — with an engine that remembers everything.

Wanderhold Launches Solo RPG Platform Powered by AI
May 1, 2026 — Austin, TX — Studio Lybrand today announced the public launch of Wanderhold, a solo tabletop RPG platform that uses AI to replace the game master. Wanderhold allows players to run structured narrative campaigns alone — with persistent campaign state, real dice mechanics, and AI-generated story that responds to their specific character and decisions.
Unlike chatbot-based story tools, Wanderhold is a full campaign engine: it tracks hull damage, crew injuries, momentum, and threat across acts. Every session picks up exactly where the last one ended. The platform launches with Stellar Odyssey, a science-fiction space exploration RPG world.
